How do I video in the app

Im new to this and my friend has this and she videoed on the app and idk how, can someone help me please?

Pls read

I would rate it a four but theres a BIG bug where its so glictchy I can only go back to 5 days for vud is

Could be much better

So after using this app for a while I mostly understand it. Its good for movie trailers but thats it. I have reasons telling why Splice is way better than this. 1. Time lapse: in Splice you can make videos go faster or slower and can even choose how long you want the picture to last for. Not iMovie. 2. User friendly: Splice although being confusing at times is much easier to use. I have been using splice for all my video editing and combined with Autodesk Sketchbook it is perfect. 3. Cutting/Duplicating: in Spice it is easy to cut videos and duplicate parts. In this there is no "cut" or at least I cant see one, proof of 2. Overall this app I do not recommend and if you want a nice editing system get Splice, not this.

Meh

It has cool features but if u delete a video from your camera roll and it was in the video it would take it out so I. Had an AWSOME day and vlogged it all and then it got deleted I was so sad

iMovie

I love iMovie. It helps me make presentations for school and for events. The only problem with it is that iMovie is too much storage and is a really big app.

Nice

Im not a professional, it works very good for me and its free?

Good than bad

The app was great and it would be perfect for making movies but then it got all glitchy and it put the sounds and videos in the wrong place so I can get it but it may not be worth it

I love this app!

Really great app but theres one thing that i hate is when you delete the pictures in your Phone after finishing the video, if you delete these pictures of your phone you would never have your "edit" back! So i kinda lost my video because of it ! ~♥️?

Please download finalcut pro

I hope theyll be able to put final cut pro for the ipad

APPLE PLEASE READ

Me and my friend always use this app for any editing we need done and that happens a lot because we are youtubers. But she uses the Mac version and I use the iPad version, I see that in the Mac version she can put images over sections on the video. I cannot find a way to do this in the iPad version, if there is a way pleas inform me but if not I believe it would improve this app. I also suggest that you add more ways to edit the audio because it is an important part of any video, movie, ad, trailer, ect.

Apple please read for the next big update of iMovie

Please update iMovie and add some of the abilities from mac version of iMovie

Awesome App But Storage Problem

This app is great and i have become very familiar with all the tools. I have to delete my videos/photos because of storage reasons, and the videos that i added to my "movie" or "trailer" disappear. PLEASE FIX!

Missing an easy feature. Apple can do better.

Everything about iMovie is easy to use, and overall its great. As someone with no computer, my phone is where I have to edit all of my video. This is fine and all, and I dont expect it to have all of the features a fully-fledged application would have. With that being said, the text options are TERRIBLE. Why in 2017 am I limited to a handful of text style choices? AND WHY ARE THEY ALL ANIMATED? I just want to pick from a handful of fonts and to choose my size, color and placement in the video. SNAPCHAT has this feature. I know I can use other apps to accomplish the same thing, but why would I want to do that? Its massively inconvenient, which I always thought was against Apples design philosophy. I feel like Apple could implement this tomorrow, and they should. 3/5 I need a computer...

Im gonna keep it short

I have 1 movie and the app takes up 5 gigabytes of storage

Trash

The worst app I have ever use. Lame, nasty

no significant problems other than

..it took really long to download and I personally think it takes up too much space? but its not too complicated, overall good app

Amazing

Super easy and help full It would be nice to see more more themes and trailers but asides from that keep adding new stuff and keep up the good work

Not so good

This app needs to explain how to do certain things like show text and much more.

Best Free Video Editor available

Edit: Ive run into the same issues a couple times now. iMovie projects become corrupted, affecting either video or audio. *Audio will shift, and doesnt line up with video. With detached audio, I can see that the audio clips have been moved in the project. With audio embedded in the video, it will playback fine in the app, but shifts the audio after exporting. *Video issue: iMovie will add a second or two of blackness to the end of every photo and every video in a project. A project that was 4:07 once corrupted became 4:50, with the added black. A project that was about 16:00 became 18:30. Im an ESL teacher, and I use this app several times a week to make educational videos with my students. Ive tried a lot of the other free video editing apps, and nothing else compares to the video and audio editing capabilities. Easy to use: after a short demonstration, my students are able to sequence video clips and photos, and record voice-overs, add other audio elements (like music, sound effects), and make style adjustments (filters, transitions). For me, I always prefer this over the desktop version (for its ease of use.) Integrated: I can share to iMovie from all my photo and audio editing apps. Bugs: Auto-Correct has a few mistakes when using text effects in iMovie. I’ve been using this app since about 2015 when I had an iPhone 5, and there has been the same bug with adding text over photos/videos. For example, type the word “go,” and auto-correct identifies the “o” as a mistake, and changes the o to an i, spelling “gi.” There’s a quick-fix solution (turning off auto-correct in iPhone’s settings), but I’d rather iMovie fix the bug. Requests: more default settings options. The default for photos is always a dissolve transition (at 1 second), a duration of 6.8 seconds, and Ken Burns enabled (with the start and end position applied randomly). With photos I intend to use in iMovie, I always crop to 16:9 so the complete image will be displayed, and almost never use the Ken Burns effect. If I’m making a short animation from 30-40 photos, this means I need to manually adjust the duration of 30-40 photos (to 0.4 seconds), disable Ken Burns for 30-40 photos, pinch to zoom out on 30-40 photos, and remove 29-39 transitions. I’d like to be able to choose a default duration time, a default transition, and choose whether or not I want Ken Burns enabled. Make iMovie.mobile projects compatible with iMovie for Mac. Please! What makes iMovie iOS so great is having a compact version of a professional grade movie editor. But without the ability to finish and fine-tune my projects on my Mac, my videos are never fully polished. iMovie iOS hasn’t updated transitions, filters, text effects, sound effects, or themes for as long as I’ve been using the app (about 4 years). This wouldn’t matter at all to me if I could share my projects to my MacBook, make those style changes, and make light & color enhancements in the desktop version. (I would never expect a mobile app to have all the features/capabilities of a desktop program.)
