iMovie App Reviews

When I select the entire collection of photos and videos from a Moment into the time line of a movie project, it starts with the latest photo or video instead of the earliest photo or video. And I cannot find a way to reverse the order (if there is a way its not very user friendly).

You guys are probably like " it has a 4 star average so why even read this one but you should. So iMovie needs to improve on things like the easiness to edit and more transitions. Also there is this really annoying lag that happens almost every time you try to use it. When you are editing a video it will lag out of IMovie and either reset your edit or mess it up my delaying the audio a couple seconds. One more main thing I dont like about this is that it wont let me download it on my phone after APPLE deleted it. But that might be a storage issue. Without thoose couple of lags it is a pretty good movie and trailer making, video editing app. :)

When creating a video, the original is cropped. Not good ?

I wish it had green screening but this is the best thing on IOS so i cant argue with that?

Its okay other than the fact that it messes up the audio I put in and moves it all around and also doesnt make transitions between video clips. The sound effects or music I put in the background get moved a few seconds before or after from where I originally put it. It also always goes black right before the clips change. Ive been working for the past few hours on a video that is literally 2 min and 45 sec because this app keeps screwing everything up and I have to fix it.

iMovie was very good. Notice how I said was. I dont know what happened, but now it absolutely ruins my videos. I add music, its too loud. When I change the volume, I have to exit the app and re enter. When I put a transition in, it has a two second black screen at the end of each clip. When I add a video, its automatically muted. When I apply a filter, it flickers. And talk about the frame quality! It cuts off my face in every video. I dont like IMovie anymore, but I am not paying for an app, nor will I use an app with watermark. So Im stuck with it. Just make it work, please. Especially for the users who did pay for this.

Cant figure what I changed.... or if it was the app that changed it self... worked perfectly fine before... now cant seem to bring videos in unless they coming from iCloud.... not sure even how to get them... it just says downloading from iCloud... but I dont see what its doing HELP!!!!

I havent tried it but I know how to edit stuff on the PC ? imovie so I should not have any differences

Edited a movie for 3 hours and 30 min, came back 2 min later and editing was completely gone. Waste of money if you want to use it for real purposes

Its okay but sometimes but its a waste of money when you only 11 GBs! I needed to erase all my movies to take 1 picture !

I was just finishing up a 12 minute, yes 12 minute video (about 3 hours of raw footage to edit) and It blacks out, never happened before. I re-open, and ALL OF MY AUDIO FILES ARE SHIFTED. And all of my CUTS ARE CHOPPY AND CORRUPTED now. I have never been so frustrated in my life. Now, what was my hard work, has been completely wasted, and my video will never be uploaded. Im so disappointed. Also, ive never had more trouble with something as simple as downloading an audio file from YouTube to use for sound effects since iMovie has NO USEFUL EFFECTS WHATSOEVER.

When I was making a trailer it took me 5 days to make I was so proud of myself but then one day when I was going to watch it it iMovie said my videos are missing when I did not even deleted the videos from my library?

The app wont download all thought I did have it downloaded I didnt have it for two weeks then I tried to download it again it kept saying imovie cannot be downloaded at this time retry ok what the heck

I can use this app properly but.... I can only speed the audio but not the video! Please add back in!

I have a YouTube channel and I use iMovie to edit my videos. It was about a month ago when it started lagging and glitching like crazy! Im so mad!!!! My videos are messed up! FIX IT!!!

Apple has done some pretty amazing things,and I think that this app is one.?
