I bought this app and them removed it after a few months to make space on my phone. I tried to download it again but it keeps asking for my billing information.

Half way through video editing the app sketches out and moves voice overs to other sections of the video, and un does previous cropping may as well be working backwards.

PLEASE READ APPLE : love this app but please please please make a video reverser and also allow video clips to be smaller than .4 seconds

Usually I love this app and its been convenient to have, but recently Ive been working with multiple voice overs and audio cuts and it keeps screwing up the whole entire video (specifically as soon as I add a voice over the rest of the audio becomes out of sync with all the video) and its making me frustrated so out of a fit of anger I thought to myself "Im going to write a review with only 3 stars." So there.

This app is amazing. I use it so much and my teacher at school was surprised at how good it was. I have written a review before, but I decided to write another one because Im more experienced now. Before, I requested that you should add a reverse feature. I think that would be cool, but here are some more problems: Sometimes I am using the app and it crashes and sends me back to the home screen and I lose my work. Sometimes when Im recording a video and I get a text and I try to text back, it deletes the video from iMovie. (but I can find it in camera roll). I was just recording a voiceover a few minutes ago, and everything was going fine until I got to a certain point in the video and then it just crashed. I restarted the app and tried again, but the same thing happened. I even saved the video to my camera roll and then tried again, and it still wouldnt work. There are many bugs in this app (more like the one I just explained) and I would like them to be fixed. This is the only editing app I use, and I would like it to work all the time. I dont want to have to learn how to use a different app. Overall, iMovie is easy to learn and can to great editing to videos. If the bugs are fixed, then I would be giving a 5 star review.

First off I really love this app!! But itd be nice if you had the option to speed up a section. We get the option to slow down but not to speed up. Some how Ive seen it in there. But only once. And maybe more filters and transitions would be nice. More unique effects for the video.

The app is so good but it needs some effects.

THE CRASHES ARE THE REAL PROBLEM! EVERYTIME IT LAGS WHATSOEVER, IT SCREWS MY ENTIRE VIDEO OR VIDEOS UP. THE WHOLE THING, NOT JUST SOME PARTS. ITS REALLY TEDIOUS AND THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED NOW.

This app is good. Its a lot better than other free movie making apps(its free if you have an iPhone 6 and up), and its my default video editor for YouTube videos. Even the loading times arent so bad, but its not professional. It doesnt have to be. Its good as it is. UPDATE: My review is now five stars. This app is literally amazing. You can do practically anything you can do on the desktop version in the mobile version. ITS THAT GOOD. There is no contest now. This is the best video editing software for mobile. Period.

I love iMovie it is a great and handy app it is useful for many things. But there are some problems... I want to use Apple Music as my background music but it wont show an option for apple music. You already have to pay for Apple Music per month and I dont want to purchase one song when Im purchasing the worlds music for the same price. Also there are many bugs and crashes

The theatre section just stopped working such a waste of money

I am just getting the hang of iMovie. It works great. The biggest issue is that the app has all these great effects, intros etc that are available to use in Trailer mode but you cant use them when you are making a movie. Seems easy enough to allow users who are making movies to port over all of the special effects, intros etc from the trailer mode, into your movie! Please update this. Otherwise its a great app.

I really wished they had more fonts and backgrounds. Also it would be really nice if you could move your fonts anywhere and set a timing for them. ALSO IT WOULD BE NICE IF YOU COULD ADD DIFFERENT COLORS TO FONTS INSTEAD OF IT BEING WHITE. But other than that, its a really good app and there no watermark which is a good thing??

App is always messing up and blacking out. Cant even edit without the detached audio messing up and it is very irritating having to go all the way back and and do it all over again. I use to love this app but as of late it needs to be worked on

Its a great app... I cant SAVE MY VIDEOS EVEN THOUGH I HAVE PLENTY OF SPACE ON MY PHONE FOR THEM! PLEASE FIX THIS I AM A YOUTUBER AND MY COMMUNITY WANTS VIDEOS BUT I KEEP HAVING PROBLEMS.

Hey Apple dont forget about this app. We need updates. I really enjoy the trailer mode it would be awesome to be able to add trailer templates.

Hello, I am a YouTuber who uses iMovie to edit videos with. I have been editing with this app since 2015 till now. I just want to recommend improvements on iMovie for iOS. First, Please allow for iMovie users to add photos on a video. Second, for the photos, I cant get the whole picture in when making a slideshow. So please. Third, when adding a video on on a video on iMovie, why is there a white outline around the video box? Please remove that. Thank you for reading this.

I have made 6 iMovies and now on the new iMovie the videos I downloaded from my library come up blank/grey during editing and even though the first page comes up clear on editing the movie is blank on play. Not fun.
