iMovie App Reviews

I hate, hate, hate this version of iMovie. Its so hard to navigate and it really screws up the view of my images. Why do my images show up wide when I need them to be center and square??? I worked with iMovie 8 in the past and loved it. I wish I could download older versions but my software wont let me. Ridiculous. Apple, if it aint broke, dont fix it!

Its a great app but very glitchy! Every time I change the sound on recordings or videos it messes up every transition I do. No matter if its a dissolve, theme, or any of them it will glitch. What happens is after the clip before the transition there is a black screen for about 3 seconds. I am able to fix this by cutting the videos (which only cuts the black off) but its so annoying! Please fix this, Thanks:)

I usually dont write reviews, but, I needed this app for flipaclip, and it will not let me download it no matter what I do.

I made a movie and just because its to long I cant post it MAKE THIS APP BETTER AND LIKE I SAID BEFORE YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO DELETE VIDEOS AND STILL GET TO WATCH IT AND POST AND MAKE THE TIME LIMITS UP TO 40 MINUTES PLEASE???????? ????????????????????????????????????????????? ????????????????? ???????????????????????????????????????????????????

I record all my clips in 2.59:1 aspect ratio, with the black bars on top and bottom. When I start a project and enter a clip into the timeline the aspect ratio and bars are correct - until I use them [clips] as B-roll. When the clip is used as B-roll the aspect ratio and black bars are gone. The clip is automatically zoomed in to take up the whole screen. The end result is inconsistent aspect ratio throughout the video project.

This app is great but I cant upload any of my videos!

Sooo this s really a good app but we really want to have more options like the Mac version of imovie, really all this gives us is simple editing. Its the best editing app out there so far but it can stay like that if there are some new changes. For example: colored text , transitions, overlays , more filters, the option to move text in a specific area, little compartments for say reaction videos like how they have the box in the corner, and animations for transparent photos. Theres just a lot you can do with the Mac version of imovie but it should be the same for the phone version. :)))

Video keep trimming out on its own and the editing features on bottom of phone keeps disappearing. Needs major fix asap.

Everything I try to upload the video I made on iMovie to YouTube, it will say "Exporting movie.." but it will only load to a certain point and then it stops exporting. Please fix this!

The app is great but it wont let me save (export) it anywhere I tried them all it just cuts off and takes me out of the app when I click it, please fix this

The iMovie app is really nice, I like it because its really simple and you can make pretty neat trailers on it. Ive made a couple trailers but I havent made any movies yet. And Im sure there are still some things about it that I dont know about. But the app could definitely use some work, but its still pretty good. and ideas for an update; 1. Add something like Visual Effects of your choice in videos and pictures. 2. Add more trailer options, because they have 14 and thats a good amount and I dont mean to be ungrateful but it would be nice if there were more. 3. It would be nice if someone could choose how long the trailers last and the speed. 4. Be able to add music from iTunes without buying it. Of course not being able to listen to the whole song but be able to choose just what part of the sample will be played and when it starts and when it stops. 5. With the songs that someone already bought on the phone it would be nice if someone could choose whatever part of the song to play and when to play it, and when to stop it. Just some ideas of mine thanks for reading, ✝God bless whoever reads this.✝

Its great just needs bug fixes

I was editing a video and was going to download it until something popped up saying I didnt have enough storage, so I go on to delete some videos. I go back to the iMovie app ready to download the video, but it says some of the videos have been deleted. Why does that matter? Im only trying to download the existed parts of the videos. Try to fix this

So when I am making a song or horror movie, sometimes when I press play, the clip does not roll, then when I play it on screen its just black and it does not show the video, its very frustrating when you worked on something hard for hours then it just does this and you have to do it all over again, you cant upload it either if its doing this im very mad, if you dont fix this I will be extremely angry

This app deleted EVERYTHING I WORKED ON!! I was making a movie and after I spent hours working on it i went to save it, and when I did it said "missing video" and I had all the videos I was working on right there. I am VERY upset!! I will never use this app again!! Please do not us this app!!

Its ok i like using it for editing videos off the camera roll. I do however get frustrated when i want to create a new project. Also would like to see a couple of features like being able to change the color of the title text and also be able to zoom in a little closer so all the stuff in the back ground wont show up.

Having a horrible time adding titles to songs at a concert I went, and havent been able to figure out how to edit how long the title can be displayed. I do not want the same title for the rest of the songs. :-/
