Great Editor, extremely broken

This is a great editing software, but I have not used it a single time where it hasnt completely screwed up so I cant trust it with any of my school projects anymore, for example when I leave and come back to the project, even after I save it, all the videos revert to untrained. This screws up any separate audio I put in making me have to completely start editing all over again.
